Adverbios de modo

Adverbios en inglés

Existen siete tipos importantes de adverbios que necesitamos aprender:
Adverbios de modo: happily (felizmente), sadly (tristemente), slowly (lentamente)
Adverbios de tiempo: now (ahora), then (entonces), already (ya)
Adverbios de lugar: there (allí), here (aquí), nearby (cercano)
Adverbios de grado: rather (bastante), enough (suficiente), quite (bastante)
Adverbios de frecuencia: always (siempre), sometimes (a veces), never (nunca)
Adverbios de relativo: where (donde), when (cuando), why (por que)
Adverbios interrogativos: when? (cuándo), where? (dónde), why? (por qué)


Adverbios de modo

Utilizamos estos adverbios cuando queremos expresar la manera en que se realiza una acción. En general se forman agregando  “ly” al final del adjetivo.
La mayoría termina en “ly” que equivale a la terminación “mente” generalmente derivan de adjetivos.

También hay exepciones a esta regla

Good     bueno                               well       bien

Ejemplos

The old man walked slowly
The detective carefully gathered the evidence
She moved slowly and spoke quietly
It rained continually for five days
They work very hard to save money

 Mas Ejemplos:

  • Verbo
  • Miguel runs fast. (Miguel corre rápido.)
  • You speak loudly. (Hablas alto.)

Adverbio
  • Miguel runs really fast. (Miguel corre muy rápido.)
  • You speak very loudly. (Hablas muy alto.)
Adjetivo
  • I am very happy. (Estoy muy contenta.)
  • She is really nice. (Ella es muy simpática.)

Gramática
 
A continuación se indican las reglas generales sobre la colocación del adverbio en la oración, si bien hay numerosas excepciones

1.- Adverbio de modo


Ejemplos:
carefully, honestly, quickly, silently, happily, quietly, well, badly...
Se coloca detrás del verbo:

She eats quickly
 
O si la oración lleva complemento, detrás de éste. Nunca entre el verbo y el complemento:

She eats the apple quickly
 
La regla anterior varía si el complemento va precedido de una preposición, ya que entonces el adverbio se puede colocar delante de la preposición o detrás del complemento:

He looks for his keys desperately
He looks desperately for his keys 

Si el objeto es una oración el adverbio se suele colocar delante del verbo:

He carefully looks after all the children that live with him

Buenas tardes maestro, ya vi su blog y las sugerencias son que estan bien los temas ya que son los que hemos visto, sólamente me gustaría que estuvieran organizados los temas por viñetas, y me gustó que halla colocado videos, solamente que esten tambien en otra viñeta, para que esten clasificados.
